Solid Ideas started trading in 1997 with a seat of SDRC's I-DEAS Computer Aided Design software. Since then, 3D design and modelling has improved and developed, as has the software, and I-DEAS is still a very capable product.
Pro Engineer
Pro Engineer is a highly capable and popular system. Solid Ideas runs Wildfire 2 and Wildfire 3.
SolidWorks
Having spent nearly a year designing with SolidWorks and with the latest version having extended surfacing capabilities including surface curvature continuity, it is becoming the main work horse for Solid Ideas.
